74.8% of Plymouth County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 25,543 citizens living in Plymouth County in 2021, 74.8% were old enough to vote, equating to 19,102 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 9,485 were male, constituting 49.7%, and 9,617 were female, making up 50.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Plymouth County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 76.7%.
